LovEvangelizationHow It All Began
At age 14, I asked myself, "Is this true?" - what I was being taught about God and Church in my Catholic school. A quest for truth began. I read the entire New Testament; I prayed a bit daily to the God whom I was not sure existed and asked Him to reveal Himself; I dialogued and debated with my religion teacher and evangelizer, an accordion-playing nun. God saw, heard, and answered: I came to a profound conviction of faith that school year and gave my life to Christ as my personal Lord and Savior at age 15. And with it came a call to evangelize! On A Mission of Love and Truth Walking more closely with Christ, I began inviting others to experience the love that flooded my heart and soul, and the truth that permeated my intellect and will. At graduation, I received a plaque honoring me "for my commitment to know Christ and make Him known to others." At age 19, I renewed that earlier commitment in a youth/young adult prayer group and became even more in love with the Triune God. Living under the influence of the Holy Spirit, Jesus - the Way, the Truth, and the Life - became forever my Way, my Truth, and my Life! I have not fallen out of love. I have not stopped evangelizing since! Yes, since then I am on a mission of love! My greatest joy is being and bringing the Good News of God's love and truth, salvation and sanctification to all men, even to the ends of the earth, and equipping others to do the same. Let me help you, and the people you serve, discover the deep joy of this mission! Let's discuss ideas of how I can serve you! God bless you! And... Remember You Are Loved! |
